"Art is not the bread, but it is the wine of life." - Jean Paul

It is the freedom that brings art to life. At the ART-Hotel Braun, we showcase contemporary works by artists with academic backgrounds – graduates of art schools or those who have completed their studies. Our exhibitions are developed in dialogue with the hotel and are allowed to unfold freely. Pathways, spaces, and transitions are consciously integrated into the concept. Within the necessary framework, we give the artists the space to stage their work according to their own vision and to open up new perspectives. In this way, each exhibition becomes a unique encounter between art, architecture, and the public.

Transit

Opening: January 25, 2026

Exhibition dates: January 26, 2026 - July 31, 2026

It is the transitions that sharpen our perception. With the exhibition "Transit," the ART-Hotel Braun itself becomes part of the art – a place between arrival and onward journey. Four young artists present their works along the hotel's pathways and passageways, transforming it into a stage for painting, drawing, and printmaking. As you move through, encounters arise between art, architecture, and the viewer – fleeting yet lasting. Take your time, for here, art unfolds not at a glance, but as you continue your exploration.
